EKS-WP Speed is EKSNEKS’s entry-tier managed WordPress hosting, engineered around one measurable outcome: your site loads under two seconds, stays online 99.9% of the time, and passes Google’s Core Web Vitals without you touching a caching plugin. It runs on our LiteSpeed + Redis + PHP 8.3 stack for €15/month, no long-term commitment required, and it’s the plan we recommend for any WordPress project that isn’t yet multilingual, e-commerce, or agency-scale.
If you’ve been burned by shared hosts that promised “unlimited” resources and delivered a page-load time your visitors leave before it finishes, this is the plan built to fix that. If you’ve been quoted €80-€150 per month by a US-based managed host for what is a modest single-site workload, this is the price sanity you were looking for. We don’t do fake $2.99 introductory rates that renew at 12×. €15/month is the price, monthly.
Who EKS-WP Speed is designed for
Every hosting product is a set of trade-offs. The trade-offs we chose for EKS-WP Speed line up neatly with four specific customer types:
- Local businesses running a 5-20 page brochure site. Restaurants, dental clinics, real-estate agencies, salons, driving schools, artisans. You need fast page loads because your prospects are on mobile 4G, a working contact form because that’s where leads land, a strong Google Business Profile signal because that’s how they found you, and SSL because Chrome will otherwise flag you. Speed covers all four cleanly.
- Personal portfolios for creatives and freelancers. Photographers, illustrators, consultants, coaches, writers. Your site is your credibility. First-render latency directly affects the “does this person look serious” judgement your client makes in three seconds. Speed’s LiteSpeed image optimisation, HTTP/3 delivery, and pre-warmed cache mean your portfolio grid loads in one paint on 4G.
- Single-language blogs and small publishers under 100,000 monthly visits. If your traffic is climbing but you’re still on a shared plan groaning under Yoast + Jetpack + a caching plugin fighting each other, moving to Speed removes three plugins from your install and speeds every editor save at the same time.
- Landing pages and campaign sites where every 100ms of load time changes cost-per-conversion on paid ads. Google’s own research shows conversion rate drops 4.42% per second of load time. On a Meta Ads campaign spending €500/month, moving from a 4-second host to a 1.5-second host is usually worth €30-€60 in reclaimed conversions, more than the hosting bill.
If your site is multilingual (Polylang, WPML), if you’re running WooCommerce with more than a small handful of products, or if you’re managing several WordPress installs for clients, look at our EKS-WP Authority or EKS-WP Dominator plans — Speed is deliberately sized under those workloads.
What EKS-WP Speed actually includes
The full stack you get on every EKS-WP Speed subscription:
- LiteSpeed Web Server at the edge, with the full LSCache module: page caching, object caching, image optimisation (WebP/AVIF), and CSS/JS minification handled server-side.
- PHP 8.3 with OPcache and JIT tuned for WordPress. Legacy PHP 7.4 through 8.2 available if a plugin still requires it — flip the version from your admin.
- 8 GB of dedicated RAM. Not “burstable”, not “shared with 200 other tenants”. Yours, isolated at the container level.
- 2 vCPU cores from AMD EPYC hardware. Enough headroom that a heavy WP-cron run doesn’t stall your front-end.
- 15 GB of enterprise NVMe storage. Same drive class we use on our €80/month agency plan — just sized for a single site.
- Unmetered bandwidth on our European network (Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris peering).
- Redis 7 for persistent WordPress object caching, warm across container restarts, sized for your traffic pattern.
- MariaDB 10.11 with InnoDB tuning specifically for WordPress workloads (adaptive hash indexes, buffer pool sized to your dataset, query cache warm on start).
- Free wildcard Let’s Encrypt SSL, auto-renewed every 60 days, HTTP/3 (QUIC) enabled, TLS 1.3 with modern ciphers only.
- Daily automated backups, 7 restore points, one-click rollback from the WP admin, and a separate off-site snapshot stored in a different Cloudflare R2 region.
- 99.9% uptime SLA, monitored every 60 seconds by our internal Grafana + Prometheus stack. If we miss it, we credit you automatically.
Performance you can actually measure
The specific numbers we tune every Speed customer’s stack to hit:
- Time to First Byte (TTFB) under 250ms from most European ISPs. Cached pages typically serve TTFB under 80ms from our edge cache.
- Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) under 2.0 seconds on real 4G devices — “Good” per Google’s Core Web Vitals thresholds.
- Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) near zero when your theme reserves image and font space correctly. We help you audit this on request.
- First Input Delay (FID) / Interaction to Next Paint (INP) under 200ms.
- Above 95/100 Lighthouse performance on a well-built theme is the norm, not the exception.
These aren’t marketing numbers. Every site we host is polled every 5 minutes for both uptime and Core Web Vitals by our internal Prometheus stack. If a threshold trips, our on-call engineer looks before you notice. That’s what “managed” actually means at EKSNEKS — not a marketing checkbox, an operational discipline.
Migration is free, and we do the work
Every EKS-WP Speed subscription includes a free one-site migration handled by our engineers. The process:
- You send us your current host credentials (SFTP + database, or a full backup archive — whichever is easier).
- Our engineer clones your site to a staging URL on our stack — usually within one business day.
- You review the staging URL. Everything: front-end, admin, WooCommerce test transactions if any, custom plugins, WPForms integrations, Google Site Kit connections.
- You sign off. We update your DNS or you update yours, whichever fits your workflow.
- Zero downtime: the previous host stays live until DNS propagates and traffic drains to us.
No “we’ll get to it next Tuesday”. No “migrations are done by a partner and cost extra”. Our engineers migrate every site personally.
Support that answers the technical question
EKS-WP Speed includes email support with a business-hours response SLA (roughly 4-hour first response during CET business hours). The important part is who’s on the other end: EKSNEKS support is our engineering team, not a call centre. If you email us that a memory limit is being hit, you get a reply that reads the PHP-FPM error log, identifies the plugin allocation pattern, and either fixes the config or explains what plugin to replace.
If a bigger plan is genuinely the right answer, we’ll tell you directly — but our default is to fix the problem inside your current subscription, because that’s how we keep customers for years instead of quarters.
Pricing without games
€15/month is the price. No €4.99 introductory rate that renews at €30. No 3-year lock-in required to hit that number. No separate “backup add-on” or “SSL add-on” you discover at checkout. Pay monthly, quarterly, or on a longer subscription with an automatic discount for the extra commitment:
- 1 month: €15 (no discount)
- 3 months: €45 (no discount)
- 9 months: €128 (5% off — save €7)
- 12 months: €162 (10% off — save €18)
- 24 months: €306 (15% off — save €54)
Cancel anytime after the paid period ends. We do not auto-renew you at a hidden higher rate. We do not hold your data hostage on cancellation — you get a full backup archive to walk away with.
Common questions
Can I move to a bigger plan later? Yes. Upgrading to EKS-WP Authority or EKS-WP Dominator is a same-day operation done in place — no site downtime, no DNS change. We prorate the current subscription against the new plan.
Do you support WooCommerce on Speed? Small stores yes (under 100 products, moderate traffic). Above that, WooCommerce needs more RAM and a WooCommerce-tuned cache config — that’s what Dominator is for.
What about staging environments? Speed doesn’t include a native staging URL — that’s an Authority-tier feature. On Speed we help you set up a manual staging clone if needed.
Do you handle DNS? Yes, if you want. We can host your DNS on our infra (with DNSSEC), or you can keep it at Cloudflare / Route 53 / your current registrar and we’ll give you the records to set.
