01EU consumer 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union and you buy a digital service without professional purpose, you have 14 calendar days from the day of the contract to withdraw without giving any reason (Directive 2011/83/EU). To exercise this right, send an unambiguous statement to [email protected] with your reference number.
If you request that the service begin during the 14-day period and we start work with your explicit consent, you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for work already performed. You remain entitled to a pro-rata refund of unused prepaid amounts.
02Managed hosting refunds
Managed WordPress hosting is billed for the term you selected (1, 6, 12 or 24 months). If you cancel before the term ends, we refund unused whole months on a pro-rata basis, minus any active-support hours already delivered.
Setup fees, one-time migrations and third-party licenses (Yoast Premium, plugins, domain registrations) are non-refundable once purchased.
03Custom engineering engagements
For fixed-price projects: milestone payments are non-refundable once the milestone deliverable has been accepted. Unused deposits held against future milestones can be refunded on written request until work on that milestone starts.
For time-and-materials engagements: only hours not yet worked are refundable. Timesheets are available on request.
04How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with your invoice reference and the reason for the refund. We reply within 5 business days with the refund amount, method (original payment channel where possible) and expected timing (up to 14 business days depending on the bank).
05Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, you can escalate the issue in writing. Governing law and forum are set in the Terms & Conditions. EU consumers may also use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
